Pros N Hackers was founded by Publisher, Adam McCaa while trying to find a Fathers Day Golf Tournament for he and his father to play in. While searching for golf course phone numbers and local golf information he stumbled upon the idea of creating a publication that would benefit the golfers throughout the community. The first issue was published in April of 1998.

Pros N Hackers is published 9 times per year (Mar-Sept, Oct/Nov, and Jan/Feb). Pros N Hackers is distributed free at both public and private golf courses through out the Mid-Atlantic as well as driving ranges, golf retailers, tournaments and other fine establishments.

Pros N Hackers Subscriber's Edition was launched in early 2002. This is a different version than the typical free version of the magazine. Subscriber's Edition offers you up to $500 savings each month at area golf courses.
